Award-winning illustrator Martin Blanco specializes in the creation of dark fantasy imagery for music, films, publishing and horror-related industries. Fear Zone invites you to investigate Martin's tantalizing and horrific work in this special gallery.

After finishing his BA in Fine Arts in Argentina, Martin moved to Barcelona, Spain, where he currently resides. Since then, Martin has illustrated, provided artwork for, and been featured in, numerous publications and websites across the world.

These include such publications as Late Late Show, Doorways Magazine, Razar Magazine, Stone Arch Books, Space and Time, Z-Man Games and many more.
Some of his music band clients have been Walls of Jericho, Tha Vill, Silent Night Deadly Night, among others.

He has made several group and solo exhibits in Argentina and Barcelona and has won numerous prizes in different drawing contests, including the award of " Best Comic Book" in the New York Horror Film Festival 2007, for the adaptation of some chapters from Greg Lamberson's novel Johnny Gruesome , together with artist Kelly Forbes.

Techniques used combine the mixed mediums of traditional art and digital mediums including photographs taken by him.Martin's main focus and inspiration comes from his love for the horror genre and dark atmosphere.
