TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE Cast Reunion Highlights Fifth Eerie Horror Film Festiva
Oh, no--Grandpa's running for President!

A cast reunion of the classic horror film "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" will highlight the fifth Eerie Horror Film Festival, October 9-12, at the historic Warner Theater in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Cast members Gunnar Hansen (Leatherface), Ed Neal (The Hitchhiker), Marilyn Burns (Sally), John Dugan (Grandpa), Allen Danziger (Jerry), Teri McMinn (Pam) and Bill Vail (Kirk), will be reuniting for only the second time since the movie was released nearly 35 years ago.

The film, which was both critically praised and condemned upon its initial release in 1974, has since inspired a cult following and has spawned several sequels and imitators. More than three decades later, the mere mention of the film's title still has the power to inspire nightmare visions of terror and dread.

The film's cast will attend a special screening of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" on Friday, October 10, at 7 p.m. in the Warner Theater, and will answer questions from the audience following the screening. They will also meet with fans and sign autographs throughout the Festival weekend.

"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" is my all-time favorite horror film," said Festival President Greg Ropp, "so you can imagine how excited I am to have the entire living cast with us for our Festival this year."

Two members of the original cast, Paul A. Partain and Jim Siedow, are deceased.
