Feel Better, Debbie Rochon!
March 19, 2008
by Greg Lamberson
Fear Zone wishes indie horror queen Debbie Rochon a speedy recovery following emergency surgery she just had; for details, you can visit her My Space blog or her website, and for a rundown on her filmography, visit IMDB.com.
Debbie is one of those actresses saddled with the "scream queen" title despite having so much more talent than one associates with with that moniker (largely due to imitators hoping to cash in on the convention scene). Check out her work in DEMONFIRE: WITCHOUSE 3 or Justin Wingenfeld's SKIN CRAWL and you'll see what I mean. She's appeared in an astounding 147 features, and has written and produced as well. In addition to all of her film work, she co-hosts FANGORIA RADIO with Dee Snyder.
I actually just wrote a role for Debbie in a new script of mine because I've been so impressed with what I've seen of her work, and on the very next project I was hired to write, the producer said, "What would you think of Debbie Rochon in this part?"!
Anyway, the woman has a lot of fans, and deservedly so, and we wish to join them in wishing her good health.
