Lifetime Achievement Award for Frank Henenlotter
This weekend, the New York City Horror Film Festival honored Frank Henenlotter with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to horror and exploitation cinema.

Henenlotter's first film, BASKET CASE, played for two years as a midnight movie at the Waverly Twin Theatre in NYC, and FANGORIA championed it early on. Henenlotter followed this up with BRAIN DAMAGE, then FRANKENHOOKER and BASKET CASE 2: HOUSE OF FREAKS, and finally BASKET CASE 3: THE PROGENY. After laying low for several years, he has returned to delight fans of his brand of outrageous sex and horror with a new film, BAD BIOLOGY, currently drawing crowds at film festivals all over the word.

Congratulations on your LAA, Frank--it's well deserved! We look forward to covering BAD BIOLOGY on Fear Zone in the future.

1. New Henenlotter is cause for celebration. The thing is, though, this movie looks fantastic!
