Following the success of the four FUTURAMA straight-to-DVD movies, Comedy Central has ordered 26 episodes of the animated gut buster.

I'm one of those individuals who believes THE SIMPSONS should have been retired after 10 seasons. FUTURAMA was by far the better show, and I'm excited that it continues to survive and thrive, like some of the science fiction series it spoofs, despite the efforts of FOX to kill it.
