I understand these books are quite the phenomenon, but this looks like second rate NEAR DARK to me.

1. Well, I think you need to be 16 to fully appreciate it. ;) I am curious what the phenomena is all about so I'm planning on checking out at least one book in the series after I finish reading THE HISTORIAN...

2. I was at the ComiCon 2008 cast/crew panel for this film(which I'd previously known nothing about) and it was what I'd imagine seeing the friggin' Beatles must have been like back in the day...LOUD! Nothing but 6,500 screaming teenage girls in attendance (and a rather dismayed me looking confused as I waited for the next panel to start). I'll bet it makes a zillion dollars. M
