German splatter kings Andreas Schnaas and Timo Rose will turn your stomach upside down with their new gore-fest UNRATED - THE MOVIE

Last month I went to Goslar near Hannover to spend two days at the set of UNRATED - THE MOVIE, a kick-ass lowbudget horror film co-directed by splatter legend Andreas Schnaas (VIOLENT SHIT I-III) and scare master Timo Rose (BARRICADE). The film combines EVIL DEAD-like haunted house horror with a TERROR FIRMER-styled film-inside-a-film theme and tells the story of a pansy b-movie director (played by Timo Rose himself), who accidentally sets free an army of bloodthirsty zombies and demons while filming his new shlockfest in an abandoned, ramshackle cabin in the woods. As soon as the evil spirits are unleashed, all hell breaks loose and all of a sudden the director and his four beautiful starlets have to face their worst nightmares and fight for their lives against a seemingly undefeatable horde of hellish fiends.

The cast of UNRATED - THE MOVIE features, among others, British scream queens Eileen Daly (CRADLE OF FEAR) and Eleanor James (COLOUR FROM THE DARK), NY-based horror icon Manoush (FEARMAKERS) and up-and-comin' German actresses Annika Strauss (LA PETITE MORT) and Magdalena Kalley (GAME OVER), as well as cameos by porn star Vivian Schmitt and THE OTHER frontman Thorsten Wilms.

As those who've seen Andy's and Timo's previous flicks can imagine, UNRATED - THE MOVIE is once again going to be an extremely gory and effect-heavy splatter fest that will undoubtedly live up to even the most hardboiled gorehound's expectations. I'm not gonna reveal too much, but you can definitely look forward to gallons of fake blood being spilled, dozens of bodyparts being chopped off and lots 'n lots of zombie-ass being kicked!

Furthermore, I'm sure that die-hard horror freaks will also get their kicks out of the countless homages to vintage genre cult flicks and trash 'n cheese fans will love the fact that UNRATED - THE MOVIE doesn't take itself too serious at all, but rather comes along with a good dose of tongue-in-the-cheek humor as well. And last but not least you're also gonna see quite a bit of bare scream queen skin during the course of the movie, so I guess I'm not lying when I say that UNRATED - THE MOVIE does indeed have everything it takes to become a true splatter cult flick!

If all goes well, the film will be out in late 2009 or early 2010... so rejoice, fellow gorehounds, and always keep in mind: There are hundreds of movies that don't get an R-rating, but only one of 'em is so gory, gross and outrageous that it really deserves to be UNRATED!!
