At the end of this week's horror DVD preview podcast, Brian the Bad Movie Guy says, "See you next week."
Don't count on it!
As part of Fear Zone's continuing effort to adopt a magazinelike format (only one that is published in segments), and because of his commitments to the excellent webzine Rogue Cinema, Brian is re-jiggering his entertaining show into a monthly production. The new show will re-launch under a new title in two or three weeks, and will then appear during the first week of each month thereafter. (more…)

Okay, I have a confession to make: my computer was without audio for six weeks, and I had to introduce the last month and a half's worth of Tuesday Terrors segments without having a clue as to what the hell they were all about. How'd I do?
Well, the drought is over! I'm working on a new Fear Zone computer, and I can finally lsiten to Brian the Bad Movie Guy's weekly horror DVD preview podcast again (and I have a lot of catching up to do!).
Here's another confession: I love Brian's show! He cracks me up and I've missed my dose of Tuesday Terrors.
And now for confession #3: I rarely remember my dreams and nightmares, and at age 44, I have never suffered a nightmare caused by a horror film, ... (more…)

Join Brian the Bad Movie Guy as he blows out the candles on Chucky's birthday cake in this week's edition of Fear Zone's TUESDAY TERRORS DVD preview podcast.
Has it really been 20 years CHILD'S PLAY first hit the big screen? It seems like only yesterday that I thought this film was an obvious and lame rehash of the great anthology film DEAD OF NIGHT and the mediocre Anthony Hopkins vehicle MAGIC. To be honest, I still don't get it. I don't think I even saw the first sequel, but I hated CHILD'S PLAY 3. I have to admit I enjoyed the stupidity of BRIDE OF CHUCKY, but went right back to hating the ugly redheaded stepchild in SEED OF CHUCKY. And now series creator Don Mancini is talking ... (more…)

Do I have your attention?
It's Tuesday, and that can only mean one thing--BIG BROTHER is on CBS tonight!
But if you're in the mood for a little fantasy served with your horror, why not check out TUESDAY TERRORS, Fear Zone's very own weekly horror DVD preview podcast, hosted not by Julie Chen, but by Brian the Bad Movie Guy?
Like a royal food taster in the days of yore, Brian samples the best and worst horror DVDs available on the market so you can make an educated decision the next time you're standing in Blockbuster staring at a slew ("heh, heh--he said 'slew'!") of awesomely designed DVD covers that have absolutely NOTHING to do with the films inside them! He's back
He's the man behind the mask
And he's out of control
He's back
The man behind the mask
And he's after your soul

FRIDAY THE 13TH VI: JASON LIVES/CONSTRICTOR
Welcome to Tuesday Terrors, Fear Zone's weekly horror DVD preview podcast hosted by Brian the Bad Movie Guy. This week, Brian previews a slew of new horror DVDs. Okay, he does that every week. But this week he previews Paramount's re-releases of FRIDAY THE 13th and F13 PART 2.
Is Paramount just trying to reap a few extra bucks in anticipation of the upcoming Platinum Dunes remake, or lay the groundwork for the upcoming FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES DVD set (which, frankly, I'm ... (more…)

The scariest edition of Fear Zone's Tuesday Terrors horror DVD podcast, hosted by Brian the Bad Movie Guy, EVER!
Can Brian put a positive, or at least marginally objective, spin on the sure to stink LOST BOYS sequel, THE TRIBE, starring Cory Feldman but not Cory Haim (and not Jami Gertz, Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Alex Winter, Diane Wiest, Alex Winter, Billy Wirth, Edward Herrmann, Barnard Hughes...)?
Tune in to find out! (more…)
